March Faith Café to focus on Baptism and to feature a ‘Grandparents’ Liturgy for Peace in our World’
The Grandparents’ Faith Café will open again online on Tuesday 8 March.
The CGA is delighted to announce Father Enda Brady as guest speaker for March. He will speak on the theme of ‘The call of Baptism’.
Father Enda Brady is a priest of the Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly in Ireland. He is parish priest in the busy parish of Cashel and Rosegreen. Father Enda is a member of the Board of the Catholic Grandparents Association and has been a wonderful supporter of the work of the CGA down through the years.
As well as speaking to us about Baptism, Father Enda will also lead us in a special ‘Grandparents’ Liturgy for Peace in our World’. We have all been distressed by the images of the invasion of Ukraine. As Grandparents gathering from across the world for the Faith Cafe, we will take time to pray in a special way for our fellow Grandparents who live in places of conflict in our world. We will pray especially for Ukranian Grandparents who are concerned for the welfare of their grandchildren and families at this time.
Commenting ahead of the March Faith Café, Catherine Wiley, CGA Founder said, “I am very much looking forward to welcoming Father Enda Brady to our March Faith Café. I have been trying to book him for the Faith Café for quite some time and I am so pleased that he can be with us to focus on the call of Baptism but also to lead us in prayer for our fellow Grandparents in Ukraine. I encourage you to come along on the 8th of March to hear from Father Enda on a topic that we spend a lot of time focusing on as Grandparents and to be part of our Liturgy for Peace.”
