Ministry Seminar to assist parishes to reach out to Grandparents and Elders

On Saturday 1 October next, the Catholic Grandparents Association (CGA) will host a Ministry Seminar to facilitate those interested in establishing a Grandparents’ Ministry in parishes. The Ministry Seminar is aimed at those starting out and those wishing to enrich and enhance recently established ministries for Grandparents.
So, if you are a parish that would like to do more around the celebration of the World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly each July or a member of a parish team interested in doing more to reach out to Grandparents or if you are a Grandparent who would like to start a ministry in your parish, then this seminar is for you.
The seminar will include input on starting a ministry and will feature a panel of existing ministry leaders who will be able to guide you through the practicalities of starting a ministry. We will also highlight the many resources available from the CGA to assist you as you take the first steps towards a Ministry in your parish.
The event will take place via Zoom at 5.00pm local time to London and Dublin which is 11.00am Central Time to US and Canada. We expect it to last one hour and fifteen minutes. The seminar is free of charge and all are welcome!
