December Newsletter

My Dearest Grandparents, Great Grandparents and Friends,

We are keeping all of you and your loved ones in our prayers at this difficult time for so many people who are dealing with many new and different challenges arising from the Covid-19 pandemic.

Despite all the restrictions of a global pandemic, it has been a busy and productive time for the Catholic Grandparents Association and I am delighted to share our December newsletter with you.

Catholic Grandparents Association Newsletter December 2020

In this month’s newsletter we are focusing on some of the events which have taken place in various CGA Ministries around the world. We are also delighted to hear the news about a new four-part documentary series on Sharing the Wisdom of Time.

We hosted a very successful Grandparents’ Faith Café and we share some of what we reflected on and chatted about with Bishop Denis Nulty at that event on 15 December last.

Please feel free to share our newsletter on your websites and social media pages and to invite others to subscribe.

If you have any queries or would like information about any aspect of the work of the Catholic Grandparents Association please do get in touch with us.

As we prepare to celebrate Christmas, we can’t but think about the most devastating aspect of the Covid-19 pandemic which has been how it has impacted the generation of people we minister to. We are hugely concerned at the loss of so many grandparents and what that means for their families, communities and for the Church! We mourn the tragic loss of life as a result of the pandemic. We are finishing our year in prayer for all those who have died and for those who are grieving for them. A special Mass has been said for these intentions.

With love and prayers and every blessing for a Happy and Holy Christmas.
