Our next Faith Cafe will be held on Tuesday 9th December

Guest Speaker: Joan Lewis

Theme: “Christmas at the Vatican

The Grandparents’ Faith Café welcomes Joan Lewis with the theme: Christmas at the Vatican”.

A respected Vatican journalist and author, Joan has spent over four decades covering the Church from the heart of Rome. She served as the English-language writer and editor for the Vatican Information Service (VIS) from 1990 to 2005, and was appointed EWTN’s first Rome Bureau Chief later that year—a role she held until 2017.

Joan has reported on five pontificates, two conclaves, and countless canonizations. She was present for the funeral of St. John Paul II and the historic resignation of Pope Benedict XVI. In recognition of her service, she has been named a Dame of the Order of St. Sylvester, the Order of the Holy Sepulchre, and the Constantinian Order.

Today, Joan continues to share her deep insight and joyful witness through her “Vatican Insider” radio show, weekly appearances on EWTN TV, and her daily blog and video series, “Joan’s Rome.” Her books—including Jubilee 2000 in Rome and A Holy Year in Rome—have guided countless pilgrims in faith and understanding.

Please take note of the time difference where you are.
