Join us for a cuppa this March at the Grandparents’ Faith Café

The Grandparents’ Faith Café is a new initiative of the Catholic Grandparents Association which is taking place online once a month over Zoom.

The Faith Café is a social and spiritual space for grandparents to meet online once a month to chat, to offer prayers and intentions and to just be together in the spirit of faith

Our special guest for the March Faith Café is Lorene Hanley Duquin, who will join us to reflect on the theme ‘Faith Heroes’.

Lorene has conducted workshops on a variety of Catholic topics in parishes and at diocesan conferences in the United States and Canada.
She is the author of fifteen books including The Catholic Grandparent Handbook and The Best is Yet to Come: Growing older with joy and fulfillment. Her articles have appeared in secular and Catholic publications.
She lives in Williamsville, New York, with her husband, Richard. They have four adult children, and eight grandchildren.

We look forward to having Lorene with and to hearing reflections from two of our grandparents involved in CGA ministries.

Catherine Wiley, our founder will also be sharing a reflection as she opens the March Faith Café.

Speaking ahead of this month’s gathering, Ms Wiley said, “It has been wonderful to watch the growth of the Grandparents’ Faith Café as a way of connecting grandparents to each other and to their faith.”

All are welcome. Registration is free. The event will run from 7.30pm to 8.30pm (Irish time) on Tuesday 9 March.
