John Michael Talbot announced as guest speaker for August Grandparents’ Faith Café
The Catholic Grandparents Association has today announced that John Michael Talbot will be the guest speaker at the August gathering of the Grandparents’ Faith Café on Tuesday 10 August online via Zoom.
John Michael Talbot is a multi-platinum selling, Grammy/Dove award winning contemporary Catholic Christian Music pioneer. His music has been the soundtrack to the faith journey of millions of believers throughout the world! He has recorded his 56th album, Songs From Solitude during his time of isolation during the Covid-19 pandemic.
A best-selling Author, John Michael’s 33rd book, Exploring the Gifts of the Spirit: Discovering the Power God Has for You, was published in May, 2020 from Thomas Nelson.
John Michael is currently on a sabbatical to focus on his solitary monastic life, his community, new writing projects and his new “Inner Room School of Spirituality.”
John Michael lives and leads the monastic life, which overflows into his very active ministry from Little Portion Hermitage in Arkansas and St. Clare Monastery in Texas, where he is the Founder and General Minister of the Catholic based community The Brothers and Sisters of Charity.
He will join Grandparents from around the world for the CGA’s monthly online gathering and will address them on the theme ‘The Joy of the Lord is my strength’.
