Archbishop Eamon Martin to be guest speaker at the April Faith Café

The Grandparents’ Faith Café is a new initiative of the Catholic Grandparents Association which is taking place online once a month over Zoom.

The Faith Café is a social and spiritual space for grandparents to meet online once a month to chat, to offer prayers and intentions and to just be together in the spirit of faith

Our special guest for the April Faith Café is Archbishop Eamon Martin, who will join us to reflect on the theme: ‘Grandparents as Faith Connectors’.

Archbishop Eamon Martin is Archbishop of Armagh, Primate of All Ireland and President of the Irish Catholic Bishops’ Conference. Archbishop Martin was with us for the National Grandparents Pilgrimage in Knock in 2017 and we are delighted to have him join us again.

We will also have reflections from two of our grandparents involved in CGA Ministries.

Catherine Wiley, our founder will also be sharing a reflection as she opens the April Faith Café.

Speaking ahead of this month’s gathering, Ms Wiley said, “It has been wonderful to watch the growth of the Grandparents’ Faith Café as a way of connecting grandparents to each other and to their faith.”

All are welcome. Registration is free. The event will run from 7.30pm to 8.30pm (Irish time) on Tuesday 13 April.
