Warm greetings of faith, hope, and love from all of us at the Catholic Grandparents Association. We are truly grateful and blessed to be here today as we approach our 25th Anniversary of serving Grandparents and our Church.

Together, we have marked many significant milestones, including the beautiful Prayer for Grandparents written by Pope Benedict XVI at our request in 2008, the official recognition and endorsement by the Vatican of our Apostolate dedicated to the role and vocation of Grandparents in transmitting our faith, and, after many years of prayer and persistence, the proclamation of a World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly. We are deeply thankful for your prayers and support, which have been instrumental in helping us reach these achievements.

As our Church celebrates the Year of Jubilee 2025 at the Vatican in Rome, with special days dedicated to Families and Grandparents from May 30 to June 1, 2025, we invite you to attend our 1st Catholic Grandparents and Elderly International Conference. This invitation is extended only to selected participants, and we are honored to include you among them!

Conference dates -  Sunday afternoon, May 25, to Wednesday afternoon, May 28, 2025.
We are humbled and grateful to tell you that our Conference will include a Papal Audience with our Holy Father on Monday, May 26. 

The objectives of our 3-day Conference are to revitalize the vocation of Grandparents and the Elderly, initiate networking relationships with other Grandparents, and discern the synodal communion, participation, and mission of Grandparents and the Elderly in light of our ecclesial journey. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the situations and challenges faced by Grandparents and the Elderly around the world and assist in developing the international framework for the Catholic Grandparents Association moving into the future.

Our time together will be focused on workshops and seminars, praying, sharing, discerning, and learning from renowned speakers from the Vatican, distinguished clergy, laity, and one another.

Our conference will be held at Villa Palazzola, Via dei Laghi, Km 10,800, Rocca di Papa Rome, Italy (Palazolla.net), a refurbished 13th-century Cistercian monastery conveniently located 40 minutes outside the city of Rome, rooms will be allocated on payment.

We have secured a special price of $850 per person for the three days, fully inclusive excluding flights, transportation and transfer to Rome for the Papal Audience. We are working on the costs for group transportation for that day and will notify you of the cost of the coach as soon as we know it.
