MY NANA…. RORY SHEAHAM

I HAVE a close bond with my Nana, Gretta Keenan, says Rory, who is from Loughegar.

She was with my Mammy when I was born and she minded me when I was small.  Every Friday night I stay at her house.  She makes a special breakfast on Saturday morning – pancakes and fried eggs.  We often go bowling together at Rock ‘n’ Bowl, and she brings me to Mass every Sunday.

My Nana is an Irish rugby fanatic and comes to see me in all my Gaelic and hurling matches.  Last Friday, Nana was at my school (Loughegar NS) for Grandparents’ Day, and we made St Brigid’s Crosses.
