Grandparents’ Faith Café featured on RTÉ Radio 1’s ‘Leap of Faith’ programme

Catherine Wiley, Founder of the Catholic Grandparents Association, spoke to broadcaster Michael Comyn on his ‘Leap of Faith’ Radio Programme on RTÉ Radio 1 on Friday 7 May.

The ‘Leap of Faith’ is a programme for people of all faiths and none. Michael talks with those whose life experiences cause them to call on their beliefs, as he seeks to discover what religion does for people – and occasionally to them. With regular updates from across the world’s faiths and from those that hold them, this is a thought-provoking 30 minutes of radio.

Catherine spoke to Michael about the success of the Grandparents’ Faith Café which was launched by the CGA last December in response to the cancellation of many of our face to face ministries as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Catherine also spoke about the changing role of grandparents and how more and more they are taking on the responsibility of passing on the faith to their grandchildren.
