“The Australian Chapter of the CGA was recently launched at a Mass at St Mary’s Cathedral in Sydney on 1 December. Cardinal George Pell was the celebrant and gave a homily which described the genesis of the CGA. A link to the homily is attached along with an information flyer about the CGA for distribution to interested parties here. There are also some further links to articles in the Catholic media. The various Australian bishops have also been advised of the launch of the CGA and it is hoped that individual parish groups will gradually spring up.

There is some growing interest locally. The Life, Marriage and Family Centre (Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney) has produced some family prayer kits which are being distributed to interested grandparents as examples of what they might produce themselves to assist them in their mission of passing on the faith.”
