Huge Crowds in Attendance for Knock Shrine

On Sunday, September 8th the 10 anniversary of the founding of the Catholic Grandparents Association was celebrated at Our Lady’s Shrine, Knock. Huge crowds, up to 10,000 were in attendance. Sr. Breege McKenna was the key note speaker. Thanks to Fr. Stephen Farragher for photos.

Scottish Pilgrimage at Carfin.

Around 450 people attended the second Grandparents Pilgrimage at the shrine of Our Lady Of Lourdes at Carfin in Scotland last Sunday 19th August, 2012.

1st Grandparents pilgrimage in Malta.

On Friday 20th July our president Maire Printer joined a large group of Grandparents from the village of Hal Balzan in Malta for the 1st Grandparents pilgrimage in their country. Stephen and Georgette Gatt, residents of the village were inspired to organise the event when they read about the CGA in the Universe newspaper last year.
